About the NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Ike Chioke is a performance-oriented professional with over 30 years of financial advisory experience, including 18 years in an executive management role. His professional experience involves strategic advisory in corporate finance including mergers and acquisitions, projects, structured finance and debt and equity capital markets activities. His industry specialisations include the financial services, telecommunications, media and general industrial sectors. He currently manages and is growing Afrinvest (West Africa) Limited, a leading wealth advisory firm active in four principal areas: investment banking, securities trading, asset management, and investment research. He was also the founder and promoter of Fitness Factory Limited.
Ike Chioke has been the chairman of the governing council at the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA) since 2019, a member of the governing council at the American University of Nigeria since 2017, and the national secretary of the Rhodes Scholarship for West Africa since 2017. He has also been a non-executive director at ServiPower Limited from 2005 and the chairman of the Enugu State Technical Committee on Privatization and Commercialization from 2009 to date.
Prior to this, Mr Chioke was a member of the Enugu State Economic Advisory Committee from 2015 to 2019. He was the chairman of Financial System Strategy (FSS) in 2020 and was also on the Capital Markets committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria from 2010 to 2012, and a member of the Bond Market Steering committee of the Debt Management Office from 2005 to 2007.
