Bolaji Elelu is an experienced investment banker and project finance specialist. He hold a B.Sc Economics from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria ( 1987), M.B.A from University of Ilorin (1990) and M.Sc Finance & Management from Cranfield University, UK (2005).
He has over 30 years professional working experience out of which 20 years were in banking rising to the position of a Deputy General Manager and Head -Structured, Project and Development Finance in Skye Bank. His working experience covers commercial banking , corporate and investment banking, as well as project, structured and development finance. He had worked in Chartered Bank, Prudent Bank, and Skye Bank before taking an early retirement from banking.
Over the course of his career, he developed expertise in project finance particularly real estate and has been involved in the financing of a number of prestigious projects in the housing, hospitality and education sectors with combined deal size in excess of N450 billion.
Bolaji was instrumental in the incubation, listing and management of the first Real Estate Investment Trust (R.E.I.T) i.e. Skye Shelter Funds , to be listed on The Nigerian Stock Exchange. He serves as a Non Executive Director on the boards of a number of companies.
Bolaji is the Managing Director of Elelu Elelu & Associates Limited a Transaction Advisory & Project Development firm with a firm foothold in the real estate space.
He is married with children.
